To further present the results of the Future Scenario Workshop held in Helsinki in September 2024, and to gather additional input, the Finnish team met with the Vantaa Pensioners’ Association on January 21, 2025. They were particularly interested in the results of the participatory walk conducted in the area. In the fall of 2024, more than 25 seniors from Vantaa participated in the walk to assess the accessibility and present authentic observations on the area. Based on the observations, it was concluded that seniors need more community, safety, green areas, and better services.
