Local Scenario Workshop in Kranj, Slovenia
As part of the SAFE project’s dissemination and continued collaboration with the municipality of Kranj, representatives from the University of Ljubljana organized an event to present their future work on the topic of ISP in Kranj. Students from the University’s Urban Planning program (first and second cycle) and Master program in Architecture presented projects in which they designed apartments for the needs of paraplegics, people with autism, the visually impaired, and elderly people.
As part of the design presentations, they also highlighted the specific needs of each group and presented the models they created based on their plans. Representatives from the municipality of Kranj, with whom the University has already established cooperation during the SAFE project, were also present. The workshop provided a valuable upgrade of knowledge on vulnerable groups, addressed also within the safe project, and offered numerous solutions and insights with great potential for future implementation.
