As part of the dissemination of the SAFE project and the transfer of knowledge to other areas, a team from the University of Ljubljana, in collaboration with Komenda Municipality and Komenda Moste Primary School, organized a children’s Jane’s Walk in the city of Komenda, Slovenia. The walk was led by SAFE project participants from the University of Ljubljana, along with primary school teachers and municipality representatives. This world-known public walk method, which is also a key part of the mapping method in the SAFE project, was tested by the youngest participants in society who are just beginning to learn about their active role in it. The walk was a fun experience for the children, who, with the help of their teachers also completed questionnaires at the end to share their vision and thoughts on the walk and the area they were observing.
