Proposing solutions to improve accessibility and safety “Por Poca Pasta” in Granada, Spain

January 20, 2025

The workshop ‘Proposing solutions to improve accessibility and safety”Por Poca Pasta” took place on 20 January 2025 at La Inmaculada Vocational Training Centre in Granada (Spain). This workshop was part of the Fast Good Experience Project, which consists of the creation, design, and management of a gastronomic service in the Centre by the students. Specifically, the service ‘Por Poca Pasta is being developed, from which an Italian food service is being offered by the students. During the workshop, the students analysed how to improve the accessibility and safety of the service they are developing for the different target groups of the SAFE Project, such as people with reduced mobility, seniors, people with Asperger’s syndrome, immigrant women, families with children, etc. We are delighted to see how they have implemented numerous accessibility measures for different vulnerable groups as a result of the workshop. In addition, Canal Sur, the Andalusian television channel, reported on it in their news. A great experience and a great result of the SAFE project that would not have been possible without the collaboration and enthusiasm of the students and the school.
